I was looking for fulfillment

But really

I was looking for aliveness

It sent me searching

Chasing, trying, failing

Nothing fulfilled me

Nothing gave me this elusive feeling

Glimmers in the dark

But as the mind settled

And I fell back into acceptance

I landed into my body

And I realised

I don’t have to do anything

To feel alive
