i'm elliot. i live in wellington, and i've been writing haiku most mornings since 2023. there are a couple of hundred of them here now, alongside longer poems, essays, photographs, and a record of the work i've done.

this site is mostly for me. it started as an archive i could actually find things in, which is not what any of the places i'd been putting work turned out to be. the board reshuffles every time you land on it, so it hands the archive back to me a piece at a time rather than newest-first forever.

alongside this i work three days a week as a senior program manager at a small nonprofit, and take a handful of coaching clients. before that i built products, ran my own coaching practice, and spent a while working out what i actually wanted to be doing.
